De Kennis-sectie meet wat deelnemers weten over de digitale wereld: hoe die werkt, welke risico’s eraan verbonden zijn en hoe verschillende technologieën het dagelijks leven beïnvloeden. Deze items toetsen feitelijke kennis over onderwerpen zoals betrouwbaarheid van informatie, communicatie en privacy, online veiligheid, AI en generatieve AI. Respondenten voor elke stelling aan of deze waar of onwaar is (of dat ze het niet weten), zodat we hun niveau van digitale geletterdheid en bewustzijn kunnen inschatten, los van hun zelfingeschatte vaardigheden.
